Kirby Future Story 19: Rise of The Darkyocolypse

Harlem walks into The Pizza Place. He goes up to the counter, and orders a large pepperoni pizza. He walks to a table, and sits down.

Suddenly, a person Harlem doesn't know walks in. The stranger walks up to the counter.

"Have you seen someone named Darky...?" The stranger says.

"No, sir." The Waddle Dee at the counter says.

The stranger turns and sees Harlem. The stranger gets suprised, then runs out the door. Harlem gets up, and runs after him.

The stranger stops and pulls out a stick with a star at the end. He aims it at Harlem, and it glows. "Don't come any closer, Star Warrior!" He yells.

"Whoa, what is that?!" Harlem asks as he puts his hands up.

"I'm a wizard. I am looking for Darky, my long lost partner. Have you seen him?!" The stranger asks.

"Uh..." Harlem's eyes dart to the left.

"What is it?!" The wizard says.

"Darky actually died..." Harlem says.

"WHAT?!" The wizard yells. "THEN HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE THE PROPHECY COME TRUE?!"

"Let me finish! And there pretty much IS no prophecy. You see, it's a long story-" Harlem starts.

"SHUT UP!!! YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD NEVER MESS WITH A WIZARD!!!" The wizard yells.

"No, there's a guy named Night Terror who has a son who is a zombie who is also Darky, and Night Terror tried to take over the Universe but failed, and the prophecy was a song, and I had to go on this crazy quest to get a black flute and decode the prophecy song thingy, and-" Harlem starts again.


"Fine. I believed you in the first place... I just have a short temper, that's all." The wizard says. "Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Eftroo. I am a wizard. A long time ago, I was told about this prophecy at Halcandra that said I had a long lost partner. I don't know what came over me, but I for some reason HAD to find him."

"Hmm... hey, can you poof me up a cake with that wizard wand thingy?" Harlem asks.

"Not now. I need your help. Can you unite me with Darky so we can take over the Universe?" Eftroo asks.

"So you're saying you CAN poof up a cake, or are you saying you can't right now because you don't know that spell yet?" Harlem asks.

"SHUT UP!!! LISTEN TO ME!!!" Eftroo yells.

"Alright, sheesh!" Harlem says. "And no, I won't help you. It's my job to protect the Universe and the citizens of Dream Land!"

"Uh, you know a robber is an old lady's purse over there, right?" Eftroo asks.

Harlem turns around and springs into action. He pushes the old lady out of the way. "There you go, sir! I got your purse back!" Harlem says to the robber.

"Thanks, Star Warrior!" The robber says as he runs away.

The old lady punches Harlem in the face, and walks away.

"If you won't help me, then I'll kill you." Eftroo says.

"Sounds like a plan!" Harlem says.

Eftroo takes out an orb of Dark Mass, and corrupts himself with it.

Harlem shakes his head and looks at the large creature.

Darky walks along the side walk. Eftroo sees him, and grabs him.

"Darky!!! It's me!!!" Eftroo yells.

"Uh... do I know you?" Darky asks.

"I'm Eftroo!!!" Eftroo yells.

Darky's jaw falls off. He puts it back on. "I didn't expect you to be this big and scary! Wait... are you using the power of Dark Mass?" Darky asks.

"Yeah, why?" Eftroo asks

Darky chomps Eftroo's hand.

"OWWWW!!!" Eftroo yells. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!!!"

"I'm sorry, but if you're using Dark Mass, that's practically cheating, and adding a whole new story to the prophecy. We wanna be known for taking over the Universe with our awesomeness, not taking over the Universe with Dark Mass. But I on the other hand, have no choice but to use it because I was brought back to life with that stuff." Darky says.

Darky eats Eftroo whole.

"What the?!" Harlem asks.

"You're next, Star Warrior!" Darky yells.

Darky takes a step toward Harlem (who is in the middle of the road).

Suddenly, a bus smashes into Darky, shattering him to pieces.

The pieces turn into multiple Darkys. A ton of vehicles hit the Darkys, and split them into millions more. Harlem runs home.

"You know what I just realized? Every time I'm in town by myself, most of the main antagonists try to kill me." Harlem says.

Kirby (who is taking a walk in front of his house) stops Harlem.

"I know I'm gonna regret asking, but what is it this time..." Kirby mumbles.

"Darky!" Harlem says.

"Huh? You mean that kid who got killed by his own robot? He's dead, remember?" Kirby asks.

"No he's not! He's a zombie or something now for some reason. Were you not here at all in story 16?" Harlem asks.

"Hmm... oh yeah! I remember now!" Kirby says.

A ton of Darkys walk up to the house.

Kirby and Harlem run away from them. One of them spit out Eftroo, but with a chomp mark on his face replacing his eye. The Darkys surround Eftroo, and sreaming can be heard by Harlem and Kirby.

Kirby and Harlem run into an alley.

Suddenly, Eftroo, with 4 robotic spider legs, comes to the alley entrance. The screaming was the Darkys. Eftroo had killed them all.

Harlem looks around, then up. He smiles. "Hey Efpoo! Get a load of this!" He yells as he jumps up, and grabs a metal pizza sign. He slams it on Eftroo, doing nothing.

"Uh... I was expecting something else to happen..." Harlem says.

Eftroo corners Kirby and Harlem.

Harlem thinks carefully, and opens his eyes. He lifts his hands up, and electricity from The Pizza Place shocks Eftroo, stuning him. Harlem beats up Eftroo, and shoots a clap laser at him. Eftroo goes flying off into space.

"That was easy!" Harlem says as he goes home.

"Too easy..." Kirby says as he looks up into space.
